NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio - A suspect in a number of nighttime home burglaries in North Ridgeville has been busted, according to police.

North Ridgeville police posted to their Facebook page that early Friday morning a midnight shift officer noticed the suspect’s vehicle parked in a neighborhood off Island Road and caught a 28-year-old Elyria man actively breaking into homes.

They said he fled by foot but was taken into custody a short time later.

Police said that right now all indications support that this man has been responsible for the string of burglaries.
