NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio - A Parma Heights man was in court answering to charges of having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl, luring her and others using fake Facebook accounts.
Cory Rudo, 26, was recently arrested in North Ridgeville and charged with having illegals sexual relationships with teens.
An officer was driving through the parking lot of South Central Park on patrol and found Rudo with a girl inside the car.
After speaking with them, the officer determined nothing illegal was happening and let Rudo go while releasing the girl to her mother.
But the officer continued his investigation and found Rudo was meeting both adults and juveniles by way of fake Facebook accounts he created. Authorities said once Rudo met the women and girls through the social media site, he would exchange nude pictures and videos of himself with them.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have had sexual contact with Rudo to call their local police department or North Ridgeville police at (440) 327-2191.
At his arraignment Wednesday in Elyria Municipal Court, Rudo didn’t plead to any of the charges against him, including unlawful sexual conduct with minors, importuning and others.
He was ordered not to have any contact with his victims and is set to appear in court again for a preliminary hearing on April 2 at 1:30 p.m.
