Multiple crews respond to foundry fire

ELYRIA, Ohio - Elyria Foundry on Filbert Street in Elyria continued to burn into the early hours of Saturday morning. The fire started around 9:30 p.m. Friday.
A dispatcher with the fire department tells us there doesn't appear to be any injuries.
According to the Morning Journal, Elyria Foundry produces industrial size castings weighing more than 70-thousand pounds. It's a 30 acre plant.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
