AVON LAKE, Ohio - A ceremony takes place Tuesday to honor Cleveland-area veterans of the Korean War.
The Department of Defense 60th Anniversary of the Korean War Commemoration Committee is organizing the ceremony.
It takes place at the American Legion Post 211 at 31972 Walker Road in Avon Lake at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Veterans will be presented with certificates of appreciation for their service and sacrifices signed by Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta.
The family members of two men who were missing in action will be recognized and be presented certificates in their honor.
