EATON TOWNSHIP, Ohio - A 29-year-old woman was found dead inside her boyfriend’s home and he was arrested.
Lorain County Sheriff Deputies said that officers received a call at about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday from a concerned citizen who said that Adam Grimes had possibly killed his girlfriend.
Deputies went to his home on Avon Belden Road in Eaton Township and found Grimes outside. Inside, was the body of Melanie Hruby. She suffered from obvious signs of blunt trauma, deputies said.
Grimes, 25, was transported to the Lorain County Correctional Facility where he was charged with aggravated murder and felonious assault.
The investigation will be conducted by the Lorain County Sheriff's Office.
The Lorain County Coroner will rule on the cause of death.
