LORAIN, Ohio - A Lorain worker was fired for buying heroin while on the clock in a city vehicle.
According to Lorain police, Morgan Munnich, 30, was fired from his position with the Lorain Street Department for violating the city's drug abuse policy in June.
During his June 26 arrest, Munnich was busted in a city vehicle with less than a gram of heroin in a foil package, along with other drug paraphernalia.
Authorities said Munnich admitted to violating the drug policy and was placed on administrative leave. A further investigation led to his firing.
