LORAIN, Ohio - A power outage in Lorain caused low water pressure and a boil alert for some residents Wednesday night.
Lorain police said a blown fuse at the pump house happened at about 7 p.m. and resulted in the outage. Police said parts of the city are experiencing low pressure.
The city is also issuing a precautionary boil alert for area bounded by these streets:
- Cooper Foster Road to the south
- Tower Blvd to the north
- Leavitt Road to the west
- Oberlin Ave to the east
The alert is in effect for 48 hours or until further notice.
