ELYRIA, Ohio - The season is over for the Lorain County Community College men's basketball team.

The school said in an email Tuesday they do not have enough eligible players returning for spring semester and will have to cancel the remainder of the team's games.

They also cited a turnover in coaches in December, following the resignation of head coach Mike Cruz.

Marty Eggleston has been named Cruz’s replacement.

Tracy Green, the school’s Vice President for Strategic and Institutional Development, said they are looking forward to Eggleston's experience and passion in guiding the LCCC Men’s Basketball Team next season.
