Local family hopes for safe return of their 2-year-old black lab, Ruby

COLUMBIA STATION, Ohio - A local family from Columbia Station is hoping that someone knows the whereabouts of their beloved dog that went missing from their home on Monday September 10.

Ruby is a 2-year-old black lab and was last seen wearing her red collar when she left her yard unexpectedly.

Ruby has a microchip and her owners are offering a reward for her safe return.

UPDATE:  Ruby was found by her owners, however, she had been struck by a train and did not survive.
