CAMDEN TWP., Ohio - No injuries have been reported after fire erupted at one of the Midwest's biggest greenhouse operations.
Lorain County officials tell NewsChannel5 that someone called in to report the fire around 5:20 Tuesday night.
Firefighters from 12 departments helped to tackle the intense flames at Ohio's Green Circle Growers. They said crews are expected to be there until daylight.
Overnight, smoke could still be seen billowing from the greenhouse. An office, seed house and 25 greenhouses were burned.
The owner's home had to be evacuated, firefighters said.
Green Circle Growers supplies plants to stores including Home Depot and Wal-Mart.
