ELYRIA, Ohio - Two men are facing felony drug charges after Elyria state troopers found 724 Oxycodone pills worth $22,000 during a traffic stop on the Ohio Turnpike.
Troopers pulled the vehicle over Tuesday around 5:30 p.m. for a marked lane violation in Lorain County.
Authorities said they noticed suspicious material in the car. A drug-sniffing canine confirmed their suspicion.
Inside the car is where troopers found the bag of pills, along with marijuana roaches and residue.
Driver McClearry Hill, 27, and passenger Thomas Johnson-Hardwick, 24, both of Michigan, were arrested and booked into the Lorain County Jail.
Both men face multiple drug charges and could spend up to 16 years in prison, if convicted, along with paying up to a $30,000 fine.
