ELYRIA, Ohio - An Elyria-based animal rescue group is seeking donations after receiving several dogs in need of serious medical care.
Multiple Breed Rescue said two dogs need full leg rehabilitation because they were neglected or abused, and it’s possible they will need leg amputations.
Tyson was dumped at the pound he was adopted from. That’s when rescuers discovered he had been hit by a car, suffering a shattered femur and a fracture in his pelvis.
Cela tested positive for heartworm. Multiple Breed Rescue said people should treat their dogs for the parasite even in the winter.
One little dog is recovering from a broken jaw, while another had a tumor removed. All of these animals have been taken in by the rescue group since the beginning of the year.
Donations gave be given directly to Fox Veterinary Hospital by called 440-458-4291. For more information on Multiple Breed Rescue and the dogs up for adoption, click here http://bit.ly/ZyiOEq
