ELYRIA, Ohio - One day after Elyria police charged the mother of a 3-year-old found wandering a street unsupervised, police said it's happened again.
The little boy, Trevor, was found on East Avenue near 6th Street on Valentine's Day morning by a passerby. He was wearing rubber boots, shorts and a T-shirt in 35 degree weather, according to police reports.
When authorities arrived, Trevor was being held by his mother, Latasha Andrewski.
Lorain County Children Services were called and Andrewski was charged again with child endangering. The 33-year-old mother is due in court on Wednesday.
One day earlier, Trevor was found by another driver in the same area, police said, alone on the street.
Lorain County Children Services spokeswoman Patti-Jo Burtnett said the agency was involved in the first incident in October and the case was closed. Now, they're involved in this latest incident.
Burtnett could only say Trevor is with family and that the family includes his mother. She wouldn't say specifically where the little boy is now staying.
