AVON LAKE, Ohio - The Coast Guard said that a search for a body in Lake Erie, off Miller Road Park suspended Wednesday night may resume again Thursday morning.
Avon Lake fire crews were called to Miller Road Park around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, and remained on scene three hours later. Responding officers would not release any additional information.
NewsChannel5 crews on scene reported police roped off an area just north of Miller Road Park.
At around 1:30 a.m. Thursday, crews confirmed to NewsChannel5 that they suspended the search for the night.
The Coast Guard said they believe there will be search Thursday morning. As of 5 a.m., no one was on the lake yet.
