ELYRIA, Ohio - The Elyria woman dubbed the “cleaning fairy” for breaking into a home to clean it and leaving a bill for the homeowner, is now accused of hurting her own son.
According to Elyria police, 53-year-old Susan Warren was arrested early Wednesday morning at her home on Marseilles Avenue.
The police report said Warren allegedly struck her 22-year-old son twice with a homemade weapon. The weapon was described as having a black handle with a weighted end.
Warren’s son showed officers red marks to verify his claims of abuse.
Susan Warren was arrested and charged with simple assault.
Warren was most recently arrested Jan. 22 when police said she shoveled a driveway on Branston Avenue without the homeowner’s consent. The homeowner called police.
At the time, police discovered there was a warrant out for her arrest in connection with an attempted burglary.
In May 2012, Warren was arrested for breaking into a Westlake home and leaving a $75 bill for tidying it up. A judge sentenced her to probation.
