Avon Health Center celebrates anniversary

AVON, Ohio - Wednesday is the one year anniversary for the Cleveland Clinic's Richard E. Jacobs Health Center in Avon.
The facility provides an alternative for patients to driving to the Cleveland Clinic's main campus in Cleveland. It also features a 24-hour emergency room.
More than 420 full time doctors, nurses, and support staff work at the Jacobs Health Center.
Cleveland Clinic reports the Avon facility has performed 4,500 outpatient surgeries in the past year.
A special anniversary celebration will be held at the center at 11 a.m.
