WICKLIFFE, Ohio - An 18-year-old woman was trapped in her car after it flipped on Rush Road in Wickliffe at about 7:32 a.m. Friday.
The driver was going at a high rate of speed when she went off the side of the road and hit a tree, Wickliffe police said. The vehicle landed on its roof.
Wickliffe firefighters were able to get her out of the overturned car.
She was taken by ambulance to Lake West Hospital, and then flown by Life Flight to MetroHealth Medical Center, police said. Her condition is not known at this time.
