The woman was driving 25 to 30 mph when she hit the house on East Erie Street near the Kiwanis Recreation Park, Painesville Fire Lt. Mark Jonovich said.
The crash caused significant damage to the house and moved it off its foundation. Jonovich said the Painesville Building Department needs to get into the house to see access the extent of the damage and authorities are trying to contact the homeowner.
The driver was taken to TriPoint Medical Center, and then flown to MetroHealth Medical Center. Her condition is not known at this time.
