WILLOUGHBY, Ohio - Willoughby police have made an arrest in connection to the Motel 6 police chase that ended in a crash. But the driver of the vehicle is still on the loose.
Officers found a cellphone at crash site on East 185th Street that led to a prostitution charge against Tajua Lewis.
By searching the phone, officers discovered the driver, who is still on the loose, was meeting up with Lewis at the Motel 6 for illegal sexual activity, according to authorities.
When officers arrived back to the Motel 6, they found Lewis in the motel room with another man who had paid her for sex.
Lewis is scheduled to be arraigned on Jan. 17 in Willoughby Municipal Court.
The man found in the room with Lewis has not been charged.
If you know who the driver involved in the chase is, you can call Willoughby police at 440-953-4212.
