WICKLIFFE, Ohio - Wickliffe police have arrested a woman who claimed she was held against her will during a home invasion, and kidnapped.
Tymika Thomas was arrested Thursday after evidence developed showing that she was never held against her will and that she was actually involved in the robbery of the homeowner on Rickey Lane.
On Friday, April 6, Thomas told police she returned to the home after a night out with the homeowner, 72 year old Gary Matousek. She said two men with guns were inside the house and forced Thomas and Matousek to the ground before taking off with some cash during the robbery.
Matousek told police that Thomas was forced to leave with the two men. Thomas surfaced later that day in Huron.
On April 13, 2012, Thomas was arraigned in the Willoughby Municipal Court and charged with one count of aggravated robbery. Her bond was set at $25,000.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
