MENTOR, Ohio - Famous and northeast Ohio-based restaurant MELT Bar & Grilled is now hiring for its new location.

The grilled cheese restaurant is holding a hiring fair for its Mentor location, which opens in mid-October.

The hiring fair takes place Tuesday and Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Cappelli’s Party Center at the Comfort Inn, 7701 Reynolds Rd. in Mentor.

The Mentor MELT is hiring about 50 positions, including line cook, dish washer, bartender and host.

A posting on MELT’s Facebook page advertises that every applicant will have a one-on-one interview with a hiring manager.

The new location is at the end storefront in the Points East Plaza at the corner of Rt. 306 and Mentor Avenue. Its official address is 7289 Mentor Ave.

The original MELT location is in Lakewood. A second location opened in Cleveland Heights in 2010 and a third followed in Independence last year.

The Independence MELT is its largest location, and the Mentor location should be about the same size.
