CLEVELAND - The location still under construction to house a Melt Bar and Grilled in Mentor caught on fire Thursday afternoon.
Officials said welding in the kitchen started the small fire.
Authorities said no one was injured and damage is minimal.
The new Melt is set to open sometime next month, but it's not clear if the fire will delay the grand opening.
The site is inside the Points East shopping plaza on Mentor Avenue and Rt. 306.
