MENTOR, Ohio - A Mentor man has been charged after police said he didn’t get medical help soon enough for a woman who died.
Mentor police said 24-year-old Michael Zusman was charged with tampering with evidence and obstructing official business.
Zusman brought 22-year-old Danielle Spisak of Concord Township to the hospital Thursday, where she was pronounced dead, according to Mentor police.
Police are currently investigating her condition when she arrived at the hospital and the time of death, but investigators said it appeared Zusman didn’t call for medical help soon enough.
The woman’s cause of death has not yet been determined.
Detectives are waiting for the medical examiner’s reports and toxicology results.
