WILLOUGHBY, Ohio - Willoughby police have arrested a 50-year-old man in connection to the robbery of a PNC Bank on Oct. 12.
James Grant, 50, was taken into custody around 5 p.m. Tuesday without incident. He was arrested at a relative’s apartment on Clifton Avenue in Cleveland.
Authorities said several tips generated from the media coverage of the robbery led to Grant's arrest.
Grant was arraigned Wednesday in Willoughby Municipal Court on the robbery charge. Bond was set at $100,000 cash.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Nov. 1 at 1 p.m.
