Man killed in Mentor motorcycle crash

MENTOR, Ohio - A man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Mentor Monday.

At about 3:20 p.m., Mentor police and fire responded to the scene of the crash in the area of the 9000 block of Hidden Glen Drive. An initial police investigation shows that a man driving a 2001 Yamaha motorcycle traveling eastbound on Hidden Glen left the north side of the road and struck two garbage cans before sliding to a stop.

Mentor fire took the man to Hillcrest Hospital where he was pronounced dead,

No other vehicles or people were involved in the crash.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
