EASTLAKE, Ohio - Eastlake police have arrested a robbery suspect after nearly a month of searching.
Officers took 46-year-old David Bell into custody in Euclid Tuesday.
Bell is accused of robbing a man at the BP station on the corner of 91st and Vine in Eastlake around 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 8, then attempting to rob Convenient, at the corner of 343rd Street and Vine, around 6:30 p.m. Aug. 9.
He confessed to both of those crimes Tuesday, officers said. They said Bell claimed drug use was the reason he committed the crimes.
Bell has been charged with robbery and attempted robbery.
He is being arraigned in Willoughby Municipal Court Wednesday morning.
