MENTOR, Ohio - A Perry Township man accused of murdering a Mentor bartender is set to go on trial Wednesday.
Joseph Thomas is accused of killing 49-year-old Annie McSween at a Mentor-on-the-Lake bar where she worked.
McSween's body was found in a wooded area behind Mario’s Lakeway Lounge on Nov. 26, 2010. Authorities said McSween had died of multiple stab wounds.
Thomas was arrested in connection with McSween's murder in June 2011 by Mentor-on-the-Lake and Madison Township police.
Thomas is charged with aggravated murder, rape and nine other counts. He could face the death penalty if convicted.
