MADISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Police in Madison Township are searching for a driver who hit and killed a man Friday night.
Around 11:09pm Friday police and fire were called to the intersection of Hubbard Road and Tarbell Avenue after a caller advised that there was an unresponsive man lying in the roadway.
The male appeared to have been struck by a vehicle which then left the scene.
The male was transported to the Lake Health Emergency Department in Madison where he was later pronounced dead. His name is not being released at this time.
The vehicle is believed to be white or cream colored and should have front end damage, possibly including the windshield.
Madison Township Police are asking anyone with information on this incident to contact them at 440-428-2115.
