EASTLAKE, Ohio - Police in Eastlake said hundreds of empty beer cans, bottles and cups were found at a party with mostly underage attendees over the weekend.
Officers got a call at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday for a possible party at a house on Admiral Drive involving underage people.
According to police, a 19-year-old man who lives in the house met the officers in the driveway. At this time, police said they saw 10 to 15 people fleeing the house.
People inside the house also locked out the resident and the officers – but someone finally let them in. After the door opened, police said several more people ran out the door.
Officers held 22 people inside the house, and found that only one was 21 years old. All coordinated rides home from the party.
In addition to the beer cans and bottles, police said they found numerous liquor bottles.
The 19-year-old who lives in the home was arrested under the keg law. He was released on bond and taken back home.
