WILLOUGHBY, Ohio - A former "dorm parent" at a Lake County private school has pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual battery.
Angel Pendleton, 32, waived his right in writing to have the case presented to a grand jury, according to court records.
Pendleton was employed for one year at the Andrews Osborne Academy in Willoughby when the incidents occurred more than a year ago.
A spokesperson for the school said Pendleton was placed on administrative leave at the time of the incidents and is no longer with the school.
Andrews Osborne is an independent, coeducational, college prep day and boarding school on 300 acres, about 20 miles east of Cleveland.
Neither the school nor prosecutors would elaborate on the charges.
Pendleton will be sentenced Aug. 1 in Lake County Common Pleas Court.
