WILLOWICK, Ohio - A woman was shot while police said she held up a Willowick McDonalds restaurant.

Police said a woman went into the fast food restaurant at 31115 Vine St. at about 8 p.m. Wednesday and told the staff to clear the building.

Willowick officers arrived as the customers and employees were evacuating. Shortly after, police said the woman walked out with the store manager and made motions indicting she was going to shoot.

That’s when a Willowick officer shot two rounds, hitting the woman.

Willowick police have identified the woman as Noelle Schulze. She was taken to Hillcrest Hospital Wednesday night and is in stable condition.

According to police, the whole incident was over in less than 5 minutes.
