Eastlake police arrest man after hot dog eating challenge turned into knuckle sandwich

EASTLAKE, Ohio - A 43-year-old man from Timberlake was arrested Sunday afternoon when a hot dog eating challenge turned into a fist fight.
The contest-turned-fight happened at the Circle Lounge in Eastlake.
A 33-year-old victim told police he was challenged to a hot dog eating contest 43-year-old James Humberson, of Timberlake, when they both started arguing.
As the conversation became more heated, the victim said the other man jabbed him in the face with his fist.
Apparently, it was all caught on video.
The investigation is ongoing. Humberson was charged with assault.
The Eastlake Police Department doesn't release police reports until court cases are complete.
