Attorney general, Canfield police ask for help finding Painesville man wanted for murder

CANFIELD, Ohio - Police need help locating a Painesville man suspected of killing a 40-year-old Canfield woman Wednesday morning.

Robert P. McLaughlin, 64, is wanted for aggravated murder in the shooting death of Stacey L. Sutera in Mahoning County, according to Attorney General Mike DeWine and Canfield Police Chief Charles Colucci.

Authorities said McLaughlin is driving a gray Chrysler Town and Country van, with Ohio license plated EZE9055. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds.

McLaughlin is considered armed and dangerous, the attorney general’s office said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should immediately call the Bureau of Criminal Investigation tip line at 855-BCI-OHIO.
