PAINESVILLE TWP., Ohio - They’re becoming a hot commodity for thieves east of Cleveland – snowblowers. For the second time in a week, one was reported stolen, this time in Painesville Township.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office posted to its Facebook page that between Saturday and Monday an unknown suspect(s) stole a 2000 New Holland skid loader from the Cambridge Condominiums development.
They said the snow blower was valued at $15,000 and was used to remove snow at the complex.
Officers in Brunswick posted on their Facebook page Monday that a man was arrested and being held on burglary charges, accused of going into a garage and stealing a snow blower.
