A dozen northeast Ohio men charged after Willoughby prostitution sting

WILLOUGHBY, Ohio - Twelve men were taken into custody after Willoughby police carried out an operation targeting prostitution customers.

Police said detectives placed an ad offering adult services for a special rate of $100 for a half hour on a website frequently used by prostitutes.

The men who responded to the ad were taken into custody without incident after entering a motel expecting to meet a 20-year-old woman.

All 12 men were charged with soliciting and criminal tools.

Those facing charges are:

Timothy D. Asberry, age 54, Willoughby Hills

Gill S. Gurinder, age 31, North Royalton

Nagi J. Haddad, age 55, Rocky River

Raymond T. Kern, age 50, Mentor

Ryan B. Tyna, age 42, Hudson

Ramone A. Davis, age 26, Cleveland

Johannes Reinhard, age 64, Palm Beach

Eugene Preston, age 38, Beachwood

Bert M. Brown, age 55, Beachwood

Richard M. Salajcik, age 47, Eastlake

Efren Romero, age 41, Painesville

Bryan Hess, age 51, Cuyahoga Falls

They will be in Willoughby Municipal Court on March 7.
