EASTLAKE, Ohio - Just two weeks into the month of April, Eastlake police have made several startling arrests including an intoxicated driving instructor and 13-year-old boy.
Police posted details about both cases on the department's Facebook page .
Officers said on the evening of Friday, April 6, the 45-year-old driving instructor was pulled over after the student car she was driving went off the right side of State Route 91 near Roberts Road.
During the traffic stop, officers found a half consumed bottle of vodka in the Euclid woman’s purse. Police also found a clipboard with students’ names and confirmed through a student, the instructor had just given a driving lesson. She was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.
Just one day prior, Eastlake police arrested an intoxicated 13-year-old boy.
At the time of his arrest, officers said he had been breaking into a living room window at the Surfside Garden Apartments on Lakeshore Boulevard.
In total, officers arrested three juveniles for underage possession and consumption.
