PERKINS TOWNSHIP, Ohio - The Sandusky Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a motorcycle crash that occurred on State Route 4 just south of Bogart Road Wednesday.
Troopers said David Moore, 57, of Norwalk, was ejected from his 2004 Harley Davidson Electra Glide motorcycle after losing control of it while trying to pass another vehicle southbound on State Route 4 through the Bogart Road intersection.
Moore suffered serious injuries. He was taken to Firelands Hospital and then by LifeFlight to St. Vincent’s Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
Perkins Township Police, Fire and EMS, LifeFlight and Sandusky Towing assisted with the crash, which remains under investigation.
