MILLERSBURG, Ohio - The Holmes County Dog Warden’s adoption center is completely full and needs to adopt more dogs out to loving homes.
Some of the dogs in the kennel are marked “urgent,” meaning they have been there the longest or could need some extra socialization.
“Any adoption will help save the life of that dog, as well as open up a spot for another dog that is in need,” the Holmes County Dog Warden’s Department and Adoption Center posted on Facebook.
Two of the pups available for adoption are 10-week-old Sheena and Drake, which were brought in together and get along very well. Sheena is 15.2-pound shepherd-mix, who enjoys company. Drake is a Border collie-mix and loves attention.
