CHARDON, Ohio - Two hearing dates have been set for the teenager accused of killing three students at Chardon High School in February.
TJ Lane, 17, appeared in court Monday. A judge set the bindover hearing date for Saturday, May 12 at 10 a.m. His competency hearing is set for Wednesday, May 2 at 1 p.m.
Police said Lane opened up fire in the cafeteria of the school Feb. 27, killing three students and injuring two others. He allegedly fled the school and surrendered more than an hour later.
