Trial delayed until 2013 for suspected Chardon High School shooter TJ Lane

CHARDON, Ohio - The trial for suspected Chardon High School shooter TJ Lane has been postponed until 2013.
According to the Geauga County Prosecutor's Office, the trial is now scheduled to start Jan. 14, 2013, at 8 a.m. It was initially set to go Nov. 26.
The move came after Lane's defense team requested additional time for an expert to continue examining Lane, who is now 18 years old.
On Oct. 1, Lane's attorneys entered a not guilty by insanity plea , saying he suffers from hallucinations, psychosis and fantasies.
Lane is accused of killing three students and injuring two others during a shooting rampage at the school in February. Police said Lane admitted to firing 10 shots from a handgun in the school's cafeteria.
If convicted, Lane faces life in prison without parole.
