MONTVILLE TOWNSHIP, Ohio - The driver of a tanker was trapped for three hours and injured in a major crash that has shut down the 7400 block of State Route 3 in Montville Township.
A tanker collided with a truck transporting hay. Route 3 is closed at Good and Chippewa. The tanker was transporting asphalt, which spilled onto the roadway.

The driver of the tanker was flown to the hospital. No word on his condition at this time.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and Route 3 is expected to be closed for approximately eight hours.
