CHARDON, Ohio - The parents of a boy killed in the Chardon school shooting said he was looking forward to picking up his paycheck from his first job.
Now Bob and Dina Parmertor said they're considering burying the check with the body of their son, 16-year-old Daniel Parmertor.
Dina Parmertor said Wednesday on the Today show that the new job and his first check were all her son was talking about.
Bob Parmertor said his son, killed Monday in the Chardon High School shooting, was a happy kid, always fun to be around, and fond of teasing him because he was taller.
The shooting killed two other students, while another student remains in serious condition in Hillcrest Hospital in suburban Cleveland. Suspect T.J. Lane has admitted firing at a group of students. A judge ordered the teen held for at least 15 days.
