JEFFERSON, Ohio - The assistant football coach credited with chasing a suspected gunman at an Ohio high school says he prays daily for the teen charged with killing three students and for the families of the shooting victims.
Coach Frank Hall talked about the February shooting at Chardon High School while speaking Sunday at his church in Jefferson.
Hall previously said that he prayed with the teenagers who were shot and tried to comfort them.
The suspect, T.J. Lane, has pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder and other charges. He turns 18 on Wednesday, and a judge ruled that he be transferred from juvenile detention to an adult jail.
Meanwhile, Hall says Chardon students are looking forward to Homecoming and the rest of the football season.
