CHARDON, Ohio - The teen accused of shooting and killing three students in the cafeteria inside Chardon High School will stand trial for the crimes in August.
TJ Lane, 17, will go to trial on Aug. 14 in Geauga County Common Pleas Court.
On Feb. 27, Lane allegedly opened fire in Chardon High School's cafeteria, killing three students, Demetrius Hewlin, Russell King Jr. and Daniel Parmertor, and injuring two others.
Last month, a juvenile court judge determined Lane could be tried as an adult.
The teen remains in the juvenile detention center.
