CHARDON, Ohio - Chardon might be small in size, but its residents are living large.
According to a new survey by Livability.com, Chardon ranks fifth on the website's list of "Top 10 Small Towns" in 2012.
The website examined cities with less than 25,000 residents and offered a relaxed lifestyle with beautiful scenery, cultural amenities, great restaurants and lots of outdoor activities.
Some of Chardon's features highlighted in the article included "a peaceful atmosphere and host of amenities." The town's low crime and unemployment rates were also mentioned.
Papillion, Nebraska was named the top small town for 2012 by the site.
