MIDDLEFIELD, Ohio - A high school teacher in Middlefield who was arrested on sexual imposition charges pleaded not guilty in Chardon Municipal Court Wednesday morning.

Samuel Paskey, a math teacher at Cardinal High School, was charged with three counts of sexual imposition, which is a third-degree misdemeanor, Tuesday.

Police said they became aware of the possible misconduct about a week ago and the investigation stems from years of past conduct.

Paskey has bonded out of jail and his next court date is set for April 19.
