CHARDON, Ohio - Attorneys for TJ Lane, the accused Chardon High School student gunman, filed a motion Wednesday requesting a time extension to analyze Lane's mental state.
TJ Lane is accused of shooting six students at Chardon High School on February 27.
Of the six shooting victims, three died and one was left paralyzed. Two others were wounded.
Lane has been charged with three counts of aggravated murder, two counts of attempted aggravated murder and one count of felonious assault.
He's due back in court for a criminal pretrial and scheduling conference on Aug. 20 at 10 a.m. in Judge David Fuhry's courtroom.
