BURTON, Ohio - A fire in a two-story house in Burton caused the fire department to temporarily re-route traffic in the area Sunday night.
It appears the fire started around 9 p.m. on Park Way off Kinsman Road. According to the Geauga County Sheriff's Office, the house was fully involved when emergency crews arrived at the scene.
It it unknown if there were any injuries and no other details have been released at this time.
According to an ODOT spokesperson, State Route 87 was closed between Burton Circle and SR 44 due to the fire, but everything opened up sometime after midnight Monday.
