SANDUSKY, Ohio - The son of a Sandusky woman killed on Wednesday discovered her body and called 911.
Sandusky police were called to a house on East Follett Street just before 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
“My mom, I think she’s dead. There’s blood all over the bathroom,” the son of 33-year-old Lorie Miller told a 911 dispatcher. “There’s blood everywhere in the bathroom.”
The Erie County Coroner’s Office said Miller died from multiple stab wounds.
“I don’t want to touch her. I don’t want to touch her,” the son said, when asked by the dispatcher to check if she had a pulse.
Later on Wednesday, Theodis Michael Keys Jr., 33, walked into the Erie County Sheriff’s Office and turned himself in. Police said Keys and Miller lived together, and that he was driving the victim’s 1999 Ford Taurus.
Keys was charged with murder and is being held at the Erie County Jail.
