SANDUSKY, Ohio - A man turned himself into deputies after a Sandusky woman was found dead, lying in a pool of blood.

Officers were called to a house on East Follett Street in Sandusky just before 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

Sandusky police said Lorie Miller, 33, was dead in the bathroom of her home. The Lucas County Coroner’s Office will determine the official cause of death.

Later in the afternoon, 33-year-old Theodis Michael Keys Jr. came into the Erie County Sheriff’s Office and turned himself over to authorities.

Police said Keys, who was living with Miller, was driving the victim’s 1999 Ford Taurus at the time. He was charged with murder and taken to the Erie County Jail.
